Marriott to acquire Greenbrier Resort:

The Greenbrier resort in West Virginia filed for bankruptcy and agreed to be acuired by Marriott. Rail Company CXS owns Greenbrier now and lent Marriott $50 million to operate the hotel for 2 years.

Virgin America Airways now charging for baggage:

Starting May 5, 2009, Virgin America will charge $15 for the first checked bag and $15 for each additional checked bag.
